By now, we hope you have gained sufficient knowledge and experience to begin parallel programming using MPI, to profile your parallel programs for optimization with Intel Trace Collector/Analyzer [ITC/A], and to debug them with Totalview.
HPC is an experienced team of computational scientists; the group has its members located both on the IUB and IUPUI campuses.
Our expertise includes:
High-performance algorithm development, coding, tuning, and results analysis in distributed memory/shared memory/hybrid computing environments..
Use of serial/parallel programming tools, software packages, compilers and computational libraries
We have developed high-performance serial/parallel algorithms and code in computational astrophysics, biology, chemistry, medical research and physics in collaboration with researchers in those areas.
We are prepared to work with you to augment your research programme if it involves high-performance computing component(s) thereby substantially increasing your ability to achieve results. There is no charge for our contribution as long as you are associated with Indiana University.
Please feel free to contact the HPC group at (812) 855 - 2632, or by emailing to hpc [at] iu.edu (remove spaces and replace [at] with @) if you have any questions or think we could be of any help with your computing needs!
